Rick Baik Passes On

It is with much sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rick Baik. Rick was with Allstar for many many years up until his retirement and relocating down east. Rick was working in the design and installation side of our company.

Rick was a kind good hearted man who was gifted with many skills. He enjoyed woodworking very much and he had a real attention to detail in his furniture making etc.

Another one of Rick’s many talents was his portable recording studio. He also had a way of getting the most miles ever from a Toyota.

Rick will be truly missed and we would like to convey our most sincere condolences to Rick’s wife Carol and the rest of their family.

The monthly “House of Worship: Business” column in Sound & Communications, written by David Lee Jr., PhD, often stresses the importance of relationship building in the house of worship vertical market. This is particularly so not only because churches often have to work within a limited budget, which means there likely are not funds for a “take two” on a bad system, but also because of the passion with which adherents to a faith—whichever one it might be—want their message to be heard and understood.
