Allstar Show Industries was proud to be part of the annual BreakForth conference once again.  From January 28 - 30, 2011 thousands of people from hundreds of different churches and denominations gathered at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, AB, to be inspired and encouraged by some of the best musicians and speakers in the largest conference of its kind in the world.  The conference included concerts by Casting Crowns, Leeland, Building 429, and others.  Worship was led by the likes of Brian Doerksen, Paul Baloche, and Arlen Salte and speakers such as Franklin Graham, Phillip Yancy, and John & Stasi Eldridge captivated listeners.  And behind the scenes, the engineers and production crew from Allstar Show Industries made sure every word and note was heard and that everyone could see what's happening, whether on the stage itself or on the big screens throughout the main hall.

Allstar Show Industries provided professional audio, lighting, video, and staging for the TELUS Stage, which hosted some of Canada's hottest acts:  Colin James, George Canyon, April Wine, Shane Yellowbird, Hedley, Default and others all performed during Capital Ex.  The TELUS Stage was powered by twin Nexo GEO tangent arrays comprised of Nexo GEO 1210S and 1230 tangent array loudspeakers, and Meyer 700HP high-powered subwoofers controlled by Yamaha PM5DRH digital consoles.  The stage was lit up by over 60 lights, including 14 Martin Mac 700 Profile moving lights, all controlled by a High End Systems Road Hog controller

In addition to the TELUS Stage, Allstar Show Industries also provided professional audio, lighting, and video for Centre Stage, the Northern Star Talent Search, and Kiyanaw, A First People’s Showcase.

Edmonton, Alberta and Anchorage, Alaska

Allstar event production services provided Crew, Pro Audio, Stage Lighting and Trucking support for Dane Cook’s Isolated Incident performance in Anchorage Alaska and in collaboration with Rainbow Production Services, provided Crew, Pro Audio, Truss and Rigging for his Edmonton Alberta performance.

Pro Audio gear included Meyer Milo, Meyer MSL-4, Meyer CQ-2, Meyer M1D, Meyer 700HP, Yamaha PM5D-RH digital console, and Clair 12AM monitors.  Stage Lighting gear included Martin MAC 2000 Profile moving lights, Procan 20Lite blinders, and Flying Pig Road Hog lighting consoles.

Canadian Tour

Allstar event production services provided pro audio, stage lighting, crew, and transportation for the Charlie Pride 2009 Canadian Tour.  The tour had stops in most major centres in Canada, from BC to Newfoundland.  The Allstar crew comprised of Cory Papirny (System Technician/ Production Manager). Justin Snow (Audio Technician/ Crew Chief), and Danny Gavin (Lighting Designer).

The 32 Nexo GeoS1210, 1230’s and 8 Meyer 700HP sub-woofers, and Yamaha PM5D-RH Digital Mixing Console provided impeccable audio while 12 Martin MAC-2000's and 6 Vari-lite Wash's, controlled by a Hog 1000 Lighting Console, lit the stage.

On January 29, 2010, 15,000 people from churches all over western Canada gathered at Edmonton's Shaw Conference Centre for the annual Breakforth conference and Allstar Show Industries was there providing sound reinforcement, stage lighting, video, and production services for the entire event.  Performing artists like the Newsboys, Phil Keaggy, Lincoln Brewster, and Michael W. Smith along side speakers such as William Paul Young and Frank Peretti graced the Breakforth stages.  This year featured the exciting addition of a Kabuki Drop to the opening session, as featured in the following video clip.  The dramatic use of light and silhouette prior to the actual drop was nothing short of spectacular.

In addition to providing sound reinforcement, stage lighting, and video for the main stage, Allstar staff also led workshops and participated in the Worship Technology World trade show area.

Allstar Show Industries, Inc. was proud to be part Edmonton's Capital Ex 2009.  Allstar provided professional audio, stage lighting, and video for the Telus Stage, Northern Star Talent Search, Kiyanaw, and the EdFest Stage, featuring artists such as Emerson Drive, Our Lady Peace, Paul Brandt, K-OS, Thornley, and the Stereos.  Flawless audio was provided by Meyer MILO arrays in concert with Meyer M3D directional subs controlled by Meyer Galileo processors and mixed by a Yamaha PM5DRH digital console.  Stage lighting included ETC Source Four ellipsoids, Martin MAC 700 profile and wash moving head lights, and Atomic 3000 DMX strobes all controlled by a Jands Hog 1000.
