COVID-19 Public Policy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

With the current situation regarding the outbreak of the COVID-19, we find ourselves in un precedented territory.   Never in Allstar’s 40-year history has there ever been such an impact to our industry and the community in general.    Allstar is committed to our staff and is looking for any creative ways to stay on top of the situation and help our staff and our business through this.

We feel for ALL the engineers, labourers and technicians within our industry as well as administrative staff and the families.    With the closing of schools and daycare operations, some parents are forced to stay home to tend to their children and here at Allstar we will be as accommodating to that need as we can possibly be.  
Allstar is not a retail business therefore we have made the decision to close the doors to the general public to limit our staff’s exposure to others.   Allstar’s administration and commercial sales core staff will continue to operate and maintain services to our customers.   Allstar will examine risk on job sites and work with its teams to develop strategies to keep projects moving forward.

As the matters at hand change almost daily, we are doing our best to stay on top of the situation.

Our public policy regarding COVID-19

At Allstar Show Industries, the safety of customers and our employees/contractors is our top priority. We are closely monitoring developments related to COVID-19.
We have taken specific measures to keep our employees/contractors healthy and in a safe environment. This also applies to any visitors to our Edmonton and Vancouver offices and any sites upon which Allstar Show Industries is working.

To achieve this:
  • Our facilities are regularly cleaned, especially in high traffic areas
  • All employees/contractors have access to hand sanitizer and hand washing facilities
  • Face-to-face meetings will be minimized
  • All employees/contractors will follow client site policies regarding COVID-19
  • We are requesting all employees/contractors notify management of
    • having been diagnosed as having contracted COVID-19
    • having experienced any symptoms related to COVID-19,
    • having travel to areas with widespread transmission of COVID-19,
    • having contact with a person or persons who have travelled to areas with widespread transmission of COVID-19,
    • having contact with a person or persons who is being screen for, suspected to have, or is confirmed to have COVID-19
We expect all employees/contractors and visitors to: 
  • Practicing good hygiene
  • Wash hands regularly for 20 seconds or longer
  • Avoiding touching their face
  • Stay home and away from others if you are feeling unwell
